HELP TO CURB BULLYING
YOU CAN TRUST IN ARGO TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN
Bullying is a form of violent behaviour using false methods of opposition and intimidation of the bully’s peers.
Overbearance is just one component of bullying, which should be considered a complex phenomenon consisting of many different elements.
For example, bullying can involve:
- Verbal criticism
- Offensive writing
- Being cut off from a peer group
(proactive bullying methods aimed at marginalising the victim)
- Coercing the victim into taking alcohol or drugs
- Challenging the victim to a high-speed car race
(negative methods that conceal the attempt to cause damage)
Bullying is based on three principles:
- Hierarchical relationships
Curbing such harmful abuse can be of fundamental importance for the current and future comfort of both the injured party, and of his/her family members. In fact the consequences and effects of bullying can be serious and permanent, and in some cases, victims have committed suicide.
In Italy, bullying is not recognized as a crime per se, but can be considered as such under circumstances such as threats (Italian Penal Code Art. 612), harassment or disturbance (Italian Penal Code Art. 660), damage to property (Italian Penal Code Art. 635), beatings or injuries (Italian Penal Code Art. 581 and 582) unlawful interference in private life (Italian Penal Code Art. 615-bis)
Prosecution is exercised by a lawsuit filed by the victim’s family.
Our agency uses experts to intervene in a targeted way, acquiring irrefutable evidence of bullying to be shown in court and ensuring the safety of the injured party, through protection services.
